About Riddle Hill Homestead
Allow us to introduce ourselves.
We’re Jim and Michelle, the duo behind Riddle Hill Homestead in Grafton, New Hampshire, where an old 1790 home and a few acres of land are slowly turning into a place for cookies, creativity, and a little bit of everyday magic.
In 2022 we waved goodbye to our Millbrook Road home and its beloved Alice in Wonderland fence and jumped headfirst into this new adventure. The property had good bones, but it needed a lot of love. Since then we’ve been slowly bringing the homestead back to life, one project at a time.
Jim keeps the tools moving and the renovation projects going, while Michelle is constantly learning new skills and dreaming up the next idea for the homestead. The cookies, of course, are a team effort. Michelle does the baking, and Jim’s taste buds serve as the final quality control.
When we’re not working on the house, tending the garden, or wrangling chickens and pups, Jim spends his weekdays at his regular job with a beautiful view of the gardens, and Michelle occasionally slips away to her part-time administrative assistant work.
Riddle Hill Homestead is still growing, but the vision is simple. A small place in Grafton where people can stop by for fresh cookies, enjoy a craft class at the Craft Cottage, camp under the stars, or just spend a little time somewhere peaceful.
Above are a few favorite snapshots from our life here so far. You’ll also meet some of the animals that call the homestead home. If you visit, chances are good you’ll run into them wandering around too.
